Executive advisory
Senior operator and CS-leadership experience, applied beyond SaaS — by inquiry only.
The primary practice is fractional Customer Success leadership for B2B SaaS. This page exists for the engagements that fall just outside that perimeter — where the underlying problem is still about retention, expansion, or senior operator judgment.
Recurring-revenue services businesses with a CS-shaped problem. B2B sales organizations where the renewal forecast is the bottleneck, not the new-logo pipeline. Founder-led companies where a board member has asked for a second set of senior eyes on the operating model. These are the shapes of advisory engagement that show up here — not consulting in the abstract, but the same operator's reps applied one industry over.
Engagements are scoped narrow and short. Most run four to eight weeks. Some end with a written assessment; some end with a coached executive making a decision in the room. None of them displace the principal's primary practice.
The door is intentionally narrow. References, board introductions, and operator-network warm intros are the standard way in. Cold inbound is read — not always answered.
What this isn't.
- Generalist management consulting. The relevant reps are CS, retention, expansion, and the operating cadences around them. Outside that perimeter, the answer is no.
- A standing advisory seat. Engagements are bounded. If a longer relationship is right, it gets renegotiated in the open.
- A pivot away from the primary practice. The SaaS work is the practice. This is the side door.
If this is the right shape.
The fastest path is a warm introduction. Failing that, a short note to the email below — what the situation is, who's asking, and what good looks like in eight weeks. If the work is real, you'll hear back within three business days.
What's next
Thirty minutes is enough to know whether this is the right fit.
A short call — no slides, no pitch deck. Tell me where the CS org is breaking. I'll tell you which of the three engagements applies, or that none of them do.
